Think he might rest a few after spending 75mins running around with 10 men after playing 2 days before.

Adrian will play
Noble and Fernandes will probably start and expect he may give Fletcher a start.
Hopefully Byram is fit enough to play some part
Might even leave Payet out

Re: Team V Man City (CUP)
Fuck Payet, play the fucker and a full strength team please. Not as if he'll be tired after his effort yesterday and Man City haven't been looking that good lately, so are there for the taking if we manage to get a decent set of officials for once.

Re: Team V Man City (CUP)
Should play our best team, thought yesterday an excellent performance (other than the idiot in black) and Man city are not exactly setting the premiership alight.

Michael Oliver is the ref for Friday, he of the infamous 'ghost goal'.

Did Bournemouth v Arsenal last night and did a good job.
Is probably the best going around at the moment.
Though there isn't much competition.

Re: Team V Man City (CUP)
I like Michael Oliver, he reads the game well and doesn't look to be the centre of attention.

I'd like us to go full strength as I think City will.

I'd be very surprised if WinStON plays in this

Pep has just said he'll play a full stregnth team, as we are PL, they are away, and he wants to continue in the competition.

Bring it on, then.

Re: Team V Man City (CUP)
If he does rest players for this, will he get a load of fury and vitriol thrown his way for not respecting the cup?

Perhaps those players, but I'd put Fegs on the right, Payet on the left, and Antonio up with Carrol.

Re: Team V Man City (CUP)
depends how you define resting. Winston has been playing with a tight hamstring for a month and every time he takes the field he's in pain, whilst the entire management and medical team cross their fingers and hope he doesn't break down. So no, he won't get criticism for leaving him out. It's the only sensible decision.
